WASHINGTON | Nov. 15, 2025 — Representatives of the Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America (NTSAA) took part in an Abhidhamma chanting ceremony at Wat Thai Washington, D.C., dedicating merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother (สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง).
Monks led the chanting before the principal Buddha image inside the main hall as members of the Thai community gathered to pay respects and reflect on the Queen Mother’s lifelong service and benevolence. According to the association’s announcement, the participation was meant to honor the Queen Mother and express enduring gratitude for her kindness.
The observance underscores the close ties between Thai organizations in the United States and local temples, where religious rites and cultural remembrance often bring the community together.
