Thai-American Media has officially launched as a new bilingual news and media platform designed to serve Thai communities across the United States, as well as individuals abroad who are planning to relocate to the U.S. The organization aims to provide reliable, accessible, and culturally relevant information to support the growing Thai diaspora.

Thai-American Media was created in response to the increasing need for accurate news, practical guidance, and community-focused storytelling for Thai residents living in the U.S. The platform will deliver content in both Thai and English, making it accessible to long-term residents, new immigrants, students, business owners, and second-generation Thai Americans.

The media outlet will feature coverage across several key categories, including:

  • News & Life in the U.S. – immigration updates, policy changes, legal information, and daily-life issues affecting Thai residents

  • Thai Business & Money – small-business operations, taxes, finance, and entrepreneurial insights

  • Health & Wellness – healthcare access, clinics, Nuad Thai, wellness practices, mental health, and medical resources

  • Culture & Thai Community – temples, festivals, Thai Town activities, local organizations, and cultural events

  • Mutelu, Faith & Belief – spiritual traditions and cultural belief systems

  • Food & Thai Eats – restaurant features, chef profiles, and Thai food culture across the U.S.

  • Travel & Experience – travel guides, Thai temple destinations, and lifestyle exploration

  • Entertainment & Thai Creators – Thai artists, influencers, and emerging talents

Beyond written articles, Thai-American Media will introduce a full multimedia ecosystem, including daily short-form news clips, weekly explainer videos, a bilingual podcast, and on-site coverage from Thai festivals and major community events. A key part of the platform is the Thai Community Registry, a voluntary opt-in system designed to gather non-personal demographic data to support community organizations, improve local services, and strengthen representation.

According to the founding team, Thai-American Media is committed to delivering accurate reporting, editorial transparency, and culturally sensitive coverage that reflects the real experiences of Thai people living in the U.S. The platform positions itself as both an information hub and a connector for Thai communities nationwide.

Thai-American Media is now live, offering daily updates, feature stories, and ongoing coverage of Thai-American life. Readers can follow new content on the website and across the outlet’s social media channels.
